Hot air trough type paddle dryer is a kind of stirring type hot air dryer for drying particles, short fibrous materials and powder materials. With double shaft mixing and spiral propulsion, it is special applicable for fast drying the materials with high humidity and high viscosity. It can lower the moisture content of high-humidity materials from 65% to 5-12% at one time. The drying time is short, usually 2-20 minutes.

Applicable Materials

Working Principle
Materials are sent to agitating dryer by screw conveyor. The hot air enters into dryer from the tangential direction of the feeding end and contact with the pulverized materials for preliminary drying. The materials move backwards and continuously lifted and crushed by the stirring claw under the double action of stirring propulsion and air flow, and exchange heat and mass with hot air. In this part, materials pulverized small enough will dry first and flow away with the air flow. The larger particles with high water content will stay longer. At the back of the stirring dryer, materials enter into cyclone from upflow tube under the double action of lifting board and airflow. The hot air is added to accelerate the rotation of materials. The flow direction of airflow, wind speed and the arrangement of the secondary air outlets make the materials stay longer in the cyclone, so that the coarser powder is also fully dried. The dried materials are discharged from rotary discharging device in lower part. The exhaust gas from the cyclone is separated by the diffusing cyclone and then discharged by the fan.
